Richie Derwald "Unite for Christ Ministries"

Richie Derwald has been entertaining throughout North America for 25 years. Throughout this time, he truly believed that being a successful entertainer was the key to his happiness. However, even after accomplishing many of his goals, he still felt that something was missing in his life. his emptiness led to feelings of anxiety and severe depression. He felt he had no real purpose in his life, disappointed depressed and confused he eventually spiraled into addictions and thoughts of suicide.

At one low point in this cycle of despair, his wife Debbie encouraged him to audition for Promise Theatre, a Christian theater company. Richie took her advice and eventually accepted the role that would forever change his life! He was given the opportunity to portray Jesus in the musical Hosanna. After accepting the role, he began to research the life and character of Jesus. He longed to know Him personally, and accepted Christ into his heart as Lord and Savior.

After doing so, not only was he was set free from his own personal hell but his life has been blessed with a happy marriage, 2 beautiful baby girls and a wonderful new home, that is filled with love and happiness.

I want to testify that searching for Fame or wealth is pointless, the more you get the more you need.
Drinking and drugs are a quick fix for instant gratification, but they will lead you on a road to nowhere!

I am confident that there is only one path to true joy, peace and happiness. I am living proof that your life can have a whole new meaning if youre living for Christ.
