Being Injured and God's Healing

Hi anyone and everyone.
I was recently injured on my state job. I am a Pastor but I am also a Correction officer in the prison system here in Connecticut. I actually deliver the license plates that the Inmates make to our local DMVs. Well, one of my workers clipped the back of my right foot with two pallets of plates (each one weighing in at an impressive 800lbs, so that was 1600 pounds that hit me). The doctors said it should have detached my Achillies Tendon but somehow it didn't. So I was hobbling around with a cane and a pronounced limp for a while. But here I am, a pastor, a man of faith, a teacher who was teaching about God's healing power... and I've got a cane. This may have confused some of my students. Why would God allow this?
