| Interested In: | Old at Age 3, the story of Zachary Moore Here is the Preface to the Book: Our son’s full name is Zachary Kale Moore. We called him Zachary, Zach, ZK, and his favorite and the most appropriate, Boss. I started calling him “Boss” when he was about a year old. I was amazed at his ability to control his life and what went on around him. It felt so natural the first time I called him Boss. He seemed so pleased to be called the Boss, and it quickly became his preferred nickname. Anyone who knew him agreed Boss was an appropriate nickname, and nobody ever disputed his claim to this title. We primarily called him Boss or Zachary, depending on the conversation. How great it was to be bossed by Zachary! Boss had everyone’s best interest in mind, and had more confidence than anyone I knew. Once Boss had made a decision around our house, it was final. Even more amazing was his ability to make the right decision. Boss never let our family down or led us astray. When we were together, he knew what I was going to do before I did. I often found myself asking Boss for advice. He always knew the best choices that my adult heart and mind were afraid or hesitant to make. I guess this was because of his pure and honest intentions. When I walked him he would direct me by leaning or pointing and provide me with necessary corrections by barking his commands and raising his hand to point. I respected how he controlled without throwing fits like a normal child might have. He truly had the qualities a successful boss should have. I don’t know if Zachary was chosen by God to live a life filled with challenges. I do know Zachary overcame his ultimate challenges by living a righteous life within his short lifespan. I also believe all of us are faced with our own challenges and we too have the power through faith in God for our own personal victory. I am sorry that I can’t write a story about how Zachary eventually physically overcame life’s challenges, but I am proud to present his story of miraculous works for the time he was here. One thing that Zachary has taught everyone: Your Attitude, Your Choice! The book was just released in September and sales are going great. We are having trouble getting publicity from mainstream media because they said our strong Faith may not appeal to the general public. The book is so inspirational and this little boy with a huge heart has inspired thousands of people around the world! It did just win an award for Best Books of 2007 Christian-Inspirational! So spread the word! The book is available on our website at www.oldatage3.com, Amazon.com, Hastings, & Barnes & Noble. |
