John 15:13 " Greater love has no man than this, that he would lay his LIFE down for his friend."<br /><br /><br />

Notice that I emphasized the word "LIFE". The word "LIFE" means everything that you have in your "LIFE" as well as your LIFE itself. So, the word LIFE can be substituted for: Hobbies, Moods, Habits, Addictions, Entertainment, Material Things, Personal Beliefs, Drugs, Alcohol, Profanity, Personal feelings, Non- Christian Music, Relationships, and so on.<br /><br />

On a personal note, as to explain this concept...<br /><br /><br />
If I Take this scripture and apply it to my self, it would read:<br /><br />

Greater love has no man than this, that he would lay his RATED R MOVIES down for his friend.<br /><br />
<br /><br /><br />
or Greater love has no man than this, that he would lay his BEER down for his friend.<br /><br /><br />
or for others...Greater love has no man than this, that he would lay his CIGARETTES down for his friend.<br /><br /><br />
YOU FILL IN THE BLANK!..ok.. "Greater love has no man than this, that he would lay his/her ________________ down for his friend."<br /><br /><br />

This is true LOVE! And this is what we teach all team members.<br /><br /><br />

PLEASE UNDERSTAND, we are not saying that all these things are SINS.. but the Bibles states HEBREWS 12:1 ..Let us lay down every WEIGHT and SIN that easily besets us...<br /><br /><br />

Notice that a "WEIGHT" is not necessarily a SIN. A weight is anything that can hold you down, or slow you down. We ask all of our team members to lay down their WEIGHTS while working with us.<br /><br /><br />

What is a WEIGHT? Well, a good example is ALCOHOL.. it is not a SIN to drink it, but it is noticeably used by Satan to weigh down the believer. Weights also impact the lives of others around you. Therefore, we want to continue to present a pure image of Christ and make sure that we love the people enough to lay DOWN our WEIGHTS while in their Country. (AS for my family, and team, we have chosen to live this way no matter where we are.)<br /><br /><br />

If you can walk in agreement with this, then you are ready to join our team.

You have well stated the TRUE SPIRITUAL INSIGHTS of JOHN CHAPTER 15 which tells us to walk in the LIGHT of CHRIST (Obeying HIS COMMANDMENTS) and NOT to walk in the darkness of this world (following the lawless one)...HE THAT LOVES HIS BROTHER ABIDES IN THE LIGHT!!! 1 JOHN 2:10...<br />
