Godtube is Anti-Catholic

When I first stumbled upon godtube.com a couple of months ago, I must admit, I was elated. For once I would be able to surf a safe, family friendly website, not to mention it was laced with God. Well, that is what I hoped it would be. It did not take long for me to become aware of all the hatred that was on godtube. You would think that a site that proclaims itself to be Ã¢Â€ÂśChristianÃ¢Â€Âť would not be filled with such hate. This hatred that I speak of is not as general as it sounds, but it is rather directed to a specific Christian denomination…Catholicism.
Catholics are certainly the minority when it comes to being members on godtube, and that does not surprise me one bit because if I were not as devout a Catholic as I am, I would not be a member of Godtube either. Sure Godtube has dedicated an entire channel to Catholics, but the Catholic channel is usually poisoned with Protestant propaganda and outward display of Protestant hatred towards Catholics…it is a rare occasion that one would find a good, wholesome Catholic video, unless one knows where to look for such videos.
Just to share some of my personal experiences on Godtube…I have been called a Romanist more times than I can count. For those of you who do not know, Romanist is a derogatory term for a Catholic and is usually the number one sign of an anti-Catholic or Catholic hater. I have also been called an occultist, Satanist, and idolater more than I can count. Last I checked, there was a commandment that stated, Ã¢Â€ÂśThou shall not bear false witness against thy neighborÃ¢Â€ÂťÃ¢Â€Â¦ Also, Catholic comments containing Catholic dogmatic teachings are notorious for mysteriously vanishing, along with videos laced with Catholic doctrine [it took three tries to upload a simple Marian prayer video]. Not only are Catholic videos [which most of the time contain very basic and universal Catholic teachings] and comments highly censored, but godtube actually allows videos which promote Catholics as idolaters, Satanist, cultists, and Romanists and while doing so promote the very hate that Christ taught against. Also, Godtube never advertises anything Catholic, but every thing Protestant such as Liberty University, and anything anti-Catholic such as the movie Ã¢Â€ÂśNoelleÃ¢Â€Âť.
So here is my question to Godtube…Why do you hate Catholics so much?

Actually, Godtube has been spending a lot of time trying to get anti-catholic material off the site. There is a difference between hatred and debating though. If you think something is too harsh I would suggest trying to contact the administrators and request they view and take it off. On the flip side though, any Catholic material that is offensive to Protestants (and unfortunately, this material is out there) would have to be taken off the site too. Godtube wants to promote harmony with all believers in Christ. Unfortunately, it seems like that is almost impossible when you put enough Protestants and Catholics in the same place.

I will trust you on this one, but I have yet to see one anti-Catholic peice of material deleted from Godtube...and just to add, and alot of my comments which are actually just answers to protestant regarding the faith are deleted and it creates the image that Catholics do not contain Truth but protestant do. I believe in harmony between Catholic and Protestant and I am all up for Ec%#%enism, but it is not offensive towards a Catholic if there is a video supporting Sola Scriptura and it is directed towards protestants, that is their right, but it is offensive when there are videos that bash Catholics and call them Satanists and Romanists...likewise a video on Marian Dogma that is directed towards Catholics should not offend protestants, but a video that states that all protestants are going to hell because they are not part of the Church, is offensive [and I have not seen one video, or read one comment that states such from a Catholic, I cannot say the same for protestants]...

I understand your frustration. I am aware of the ugliness that you speak of here on Godtube. Lately, I've kinda stepped back from commenting cause I just think everyone is being so mean and arrogant. That's really not what I'm about and didn't like getting caught up in that mess. I don't know if you should take it personally though. Many of my comments have disappeared as well. I don't know what it's about, but the temptation is to remove myself from the fellowship with other believers here, and I believe that's what Satan wants. He wants to create as much division as he can. It keeps us all from uniting and to the unbelievers we just look like jerks with all of the nonsense and bickering.

Are you saying that you do not read your Bible? Yo just leave it up to the Father of your church to give you his interpretation of what the Bible says? If so, what if his interpretation is wrong? Are you going to be led astray? Would it not behoove you to ask God to help you understand his word so that you know it comes from God the Heavenly Father?

All Catholics are required to read the Bible, it says so in the Catechism of the Catholic Church...contrary to popular Protestant belief, Catholics do read the Bible...but the difference between a lay Catholic such as myself and a priest, is that they must first spend 8 years in seminary studying theology and the scriptures before even becoming a priest and they continue their theological studies long after that....thus, a priest is not just some random guy that is plucked off of the street and asked to preach, but is someone who has spent a far more considerable studying the scriptures than most lay people....
