Crisp suits, perfect ties, silver hair, stomping about the stage. Feelings of disengagement. A vital sense of something more. Anger at what you see mixed with guilt because you have been told this is church. Half truths mixed with fifteen minute rampages about "Why don't you give brother?!"



Lattes mixed with "Jesus is your best friend" A stunning lack of Holiness, getting up and walking around in the middle of service. Church dark and black like a tomb. Rock music blaring so loud you can't even worship.



Are you like me?



I want faces... sweaty, excited, fresh from the fight. Talk of miracles, salvation, the power of the Holy Spirit glowing from the faces of those who just delivered the word in power and watched God change the heart of a person from wretched to light.



You are not alone.



You sense more...you want more... of what Christ has to give for all the right reasons. You have not been given the whole truth because pastors are man pleasers not God pleasers. They are afraid of losing tithes, offending the elders or deacons and losing face in the sight of their denomination.



Hear me....Denomination is the graetest sin of the modern day church.
