Concert
The Lights were blaring; flashing their hypnotic glares at everyone and everything in the park. Performer after performer came on stage thrilling the crowd. They danced and sang and a wave of energy and music coursed through the ground. It started at the feet and moved its way up; up their feet, waists, their spines, heads and whole body, silently consuming their entire being. Willingly they surrendered releasing themselves to the sound of this new energy they had just found. âWhat is going onâ they sang.............and I wondered the same thing. I hadnât been touched or moved. Silence was my sound that night. I didnât want to be there but I was anyway. My soul stabbed by the knife of hypocrisy or at least that what I felt.
