Thank you Franklin Graham

Today I listed as a Favorite video, Fernando Ortego singing "Give Me Jesus" in tribute to Ruth Graham - Billy Graham's wife, and Franklin's mother. I love this piece for its beautifully expressed sentiment of the ultimate life choice - to love and serve Jesus Christ - but also because I have a great sense of empathy and gratitude for the Grahams, and especially for Franklin.
You see, Franklin Graham led his NYPENN Festival which was held here in Binghamton during June 9 - 11, 2007 - during the time when his beloved mother, Ruth, was on her very death bed: Faithful to God's call on his life, Franklin spoke at the Festival each day, including at the Andrew's Good News Ride motorcycle rally - a video clip of which I've posted here on GodTube. No doubt, Franklin knew that his mother would have had him serve Jesus just that way as she became ready in her final earth days to leave to be with our Lord.
