Hi Melanie, Sorry, I assumed you lived in W. Va.. We do what we can around here to capture our sunsets in the 60-80 days a year we have them. I was fortunate to catch this one. It is peering at Mt. Olympus which amazingly looks exactly as it did to William Winthrop, one of the first white dudes to canoe through the Puget Sound in 1853. He was also the first visionary eco-consevationist which helped save our region from over indulgent land developers, - at the same time cursing us with more snobby environmental wacko's than we can handle; obstructing the view of everything, especially right and. wrong, i.e. - the created.is counted more precious than the Creator.

Mathew 7:16a Ye shall know them by their fruits. Test them to make sure their fruit is good...if any doubt do not open the door.....They lie in wait for your slaughter....I am a Christian....I excepted Jesus as my Savior, been baptized by water and spirit....I love the Lord with all I am...If you asked anyone in my family they could vouch for me on this.....I WAS DECEIVED....I fell into the trap...Remember it starts out with just a little and can turn into a lot quickly....The enemy knows just what to say and do....He knows your weaknesses and how to use them against you....you can say what you want, but I did stay in the word and in prayer...Little by little he creeps in....Anyone you allow in your life, test their fruit first....At the first sign of bad fruit run....shut the door.... Thank God greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world....I was almost overtaken.....It can happen to anyone.....I never thought it would happen to me....Thank you Lord for rescuing me......and your forgiveness... Be on guard....Jesus wouldn't have fore warned us if it couldn't happen......And if it happens to you remember repent if you sinned and sin no more.....learn from it...He is always forgiving and his grace is never ending.....

I once was on this road
It was dark, cold, and lonely
There was nothing around me
I longed for something more
I saw a door in the middle of this road
I heard a voice saying
Knock and I will open
I was very interested as to what was behind this door
So I knocked
There became a bright light from behind the door
I became afraid for a moment
Then I heard this voice again
As the door opened He said
Come my child with me
And see how your life was meant to be
I was on another road
Only this one was different
It was beautiful, warm, and vibrant
I was no longer lonely
I had a Friend
Someone who cared for me
And taught me so many new, exciting things
I also learned He gave his life for me
This road wasn't just any road
It is my life
And my Friend wasn't just any Friend
He is my savior
His name is Jesus

    I love children. I teach for our church in the children's music ministry and also pre school church...I sing for our Praise and worship team...I am a part of our Low Country Community Players Organization...We do Dinner Theater and also Readers Theater....readers theater for local colleges, elementary schools, day cares and what I love the most is the Veterans Home...I got saved as a young girl, but drifted into the ways of the world..I rededicated my life here in the past few years...Its been an adventure....thank God he gives a little at a time to change,and holds us together while we are facing it....all things are possible with God...He is my inspiration! I thank him for his grace.....
