Your prayer is the very prayer that my husband and I need to pray right now ourselves. My husband was wrong so very badly by those who call themselves Christians (even one who calls himself a Pastor) and he is the victim of their act and as they run free my husband and I pay for their sin!!!! Our Father in Heaven knows the truth.... I pray someday that those who hurt our family will truly bend on knees to confess!

The words to this song describe all of us, we call upon Him and we cannot feel Him or see Him. His word says to call upon my name, if our hearts are not open to hear Him we really have to reley on knowing His word is true, there are so many times that I find myself in a desert zone of not being able to connect, its not God its me. Christ already died for us, so we don't have to die for Him. We have to die to self, to serve Him. When we die to self, its laying our life down to serve Him. To begin with this man was put on a guilt trip for not dying for Christ. God would not do that to us, the man with the gun knew there were no bullets in the gun, anyone can pull a trigger like he did knowing. The preacher is a man who is flesh first, none of us want to die. We think about our loved ones and what would happen to them. I know this is the flesh talking, but God needs us here to do His work. Not physically die for Him. So if I were in that position, I would say no I am not ready, but it does not make me a failed Christian or failed my God. I love the Lord with all my heart, and I serve Him everyday. I pray I would have the words for this person if it ever happened to me.

Father God, as I sit here this morning feeling like I have lost a major part of me, I ask that you just touch the ones in hurt and the ones that have done the hurting. Lord I have no understanding of how people can call themselves yours, but turn around and just make someone cry, or feel less of a person, Father forgive them, I ask for your love to pour out to us who have been victims of this act. I ask Lord that you place the forgiveness in our hearts to forgive them. AMEN

    I am sold out to the Lord, He is my life. He has supplied all my needs for many years. He has placed a desire in my heart to reach out to the hurting and lost. I am in the process of opening a shelter for abused children, we will house them and help them with the Love of God. To know that He is the one we turn to, He is the one that loves us, He is the one that will never leave them nor forsake them.
