Hi Linda, I thought I would share something with you that one of your guest said. It was the screenwriter Carole Whang Schutter . In your interview with her, she stated that if the doors keep closing on those who are seeking to get into this industry, that it isn't from God. I have been writing screenplays for twenty years and each step of the way I begged God to show me if this wasn't HIs will or not. He kept saying keep going, don't stop trying and trust in me. Well, in 2oo1 some bad things happened in my family and I just gave up. I told God that if he wanted me to continue that he would have to drop a production company in my lap. Well, nothing happened, but for some odd reason I held on to hope. That is until the day I saw your screenwriter say those words. That day I gave up completey on what I thought was God telling to continue to trust in Him. Well, last week, I signed contracts with Grizzly Adams Productions as one of their writers. Yes, this came from God, I did not seek it, nor was I marketing my scripts. My husband who gets their ads in email happened to contact Ballingsinger telling him about me. I did not know what he was doing. He didn't want me to know just incase it was antother failure. Well, I just want to say that God was faithful to HIs word for me while I finally gave up after listening to your guest say how if it doesn't happen and doors close, then it must not be in God's Will. I want to say that after twenty years of waiting, it was in God's timing, not mine, and it is wrong to tell someone that it's not in God'w will if God is saying to trust and wait. Who knows how many people will give up because of words like these. Also, just because doors open doesn't necessarily mean it's God's Will either. Satan knows how to open doors, otherwise there wouldn't be the nonsense out there. We all have to wait on the Lord, and yes, we have to have an honest heart toward God if this is in His will or not. I questioned this all along this journey. Now I am working on developing a Christmas Special for Television. It was HIs faithfulness not mine that got me here......God Bless...Linda |
