About Me: am anime fan at the very core. The stories just capture me and I learn a lot of lessons from them. I am also an atheist. I think the time has come for atheists to be vocal and return the U.S. to the secular nation it was supposed to be. I am a Computer Science major and have just completed my first year of college.

Maybe people should start voting based on their credentials and not on what religion they follow. Just a thought.

Oh and just for the record, in the original texts it said \"Thou shall not suffer a poisoner to live.\" Witches and poisoners are very different.

image My heart breaks for you Kyle Johnson. You may laugh at this revelation and excuse it for the false words of an over dramatic Christian, but it's true. My heart breaks over the fact that you have been given the freedom to learn of the One God, yet you slap away the life jacket only to drowned. My heart breaks for you because i would not wish Hell on anyone, and yet you've proudly condemed yourself to that place. God loves us both equally Kyle. But he will not accept you in Heaven, if you deny Him in the end. ~your sister in Christ

image Kyle_The_Atheist said: "I remember something my college biology professor said and I take it to heart. She said, "Whether or not you believe in evolution, it happens, deal with it." So whether or not I believe in evolution is irrelevant." I have lived long enough to be amused by the attitude of you and your professor. This "I don't need to defend my position with the facts" attitude was prevalent way back in the 50's and 60's - but then it was the creationists who were "closed minded." They were unwilling to listen to the evolutionists in any kind of thoughtful way or to consider any "evidence" for evolution, so they were ultimately dismissed from any meaningful dialogue on the origins of life. We have a LOT more information today than we did back then and creationists have worked and studied hard to show themselves approved. The result is a reasoned and educated population of extremely intelligent scientists who can present a solid case for creation. It's ironic to see the closed minds on the "other side" now.

image i noticed you said "I wish you and other atheists would continue posting on this site if for no other reason than to break the stereotype atheists are evil and immoral people. I plan to start posting in under a month once I've saved up for a nice webcam." commenting on a video. I'm not sure if you realize this or not, but the classical Christian view is that ALL people(not just atheists) are evil immoral people.

image Hi Kyle, I just read your quote from Abe Lincoln and I HOPE that the substance of my life is never reduced to one statement, 'cause I have had some DOOZIES escape from my lips! I can't find the source of your quote, but just to be fair, he also said: That I am not a member of any Christian Church, is true; but I have never denied the truth of the Scriptures; and I have never spoken with intentional disrespect of religion in general, or any denomination of Christians in particular." --From the July 31, 1846 Handbill Replying to Charges of Infidelity "I do not think I could myself, be brought to support a man for office, whom I knew to be an open enemy of, and scoffer at, religion." --From the July 31, 1846 Handbill Replying to Charges of Infidelity "The will of God prevails. In great contests each party claims to act in accordance with the will of God. Both may be, and one must be, wrong." --From the September 1862 Meditation on the Divine Will "I am very glad indeed to see you to-night, and yet I will not say I thank you for this call, but I do most sincerely thank Almighty God for the occasion on which you have called." --From the July 7, 1864 Response to a Serenade "If God now wills the removal of a great wrong, and wills also that we of the North as well as you of the South, shall pay fairly for our complicity in that wrong, impartial history will find therein new cause to attest and revere the justice and goodness of God." --From the April 4, 1864 Letter to Albert Hodges "We hoped for a happy termination of this terrible war long before this; but God knows best, and has ruled otherwise. We shall yet acknowledge His wisdom and our own error therein." --From the September 4, 1864 Letter to Eliza Gurney.

image Kyle: I am curious about your statement: "return the U.S. to the secular nation it was supposed to be." You use the word "return" which indicates that this nation was at some point "secular" in the past but has turned....what? Religious? When was that? And you say "supposed to be" - Could you cite some objective evidence in the form of founding documents that support this %@@@ertion?
