The Emerging Leadership

We recently had a young prophet from Europe stay with us for a few weeks for some intensive training and mentorship, and this week, we'll be holding a local gathering for people called to leadership in Fort Worth, Texas.
Years ago, I used to talk about the "hidden leaders" that were in the church, unaware of their call, or even suppressed in their call so that they remained in the background. About a year and a half ago, the Lord instructed me to call them "Emerging Leaders," because they were beginning to rise up out of obscurity to take their place in the kingdom. For these leaders there is a specific mandate:
"And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and the profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean."
--Ezekiel 44:23
These are leaders whom God shall raise up to be uncompromising and passionately committed to the integrity that is only attained through unbroken fellowship with God through Jesus Christ. Over the last couple of years it has been my privilege to meet, mentor, and even consecrate some of these leaders. I look forward to watching more of them rise above situation and circumstance, break past opposition and obstruction, and break through into the appointed destiny that God has laid before them.
