I agree. Love is truth. I believe they are inseparable. To love someone is to tell the truth. This is a hard area for me because I do not like to confront. However, God has revealed to me how this has caused problems in my relationships. The cliche "care enough to confront" is true. The people who are close to me I trust them enough that I would want them to confront me and hold me accountable. I think we can harm people spiritually if we do not tell the truth. We may be rejected and that is hurtful and we may hurt feelings in the short term, but in the long term God is able to use truth. Jesus said "I am the way , the truth, and the life..." Satan is the father of deceit. Charles Stanley says that satan goes one degree from the truth to create a lie. As Jesus followers, we need to be truthful. Good post. seriously, i agree with ya. if they need slammin, slam em. well not literally. maybe i said that wrong. i dont mind tellin somebody they better get their act together. and if they dont get the message the first time, i just might slam em. i have before, on my brother. worked for a while, but right now we aint talkin lol.
