| About Me: | I was born in CA during the 50's. I now live in MS. I am an artist, I love my job. I paint landscapes, sky scapes, etc., the way I see them, the way God created them. I love God and all his creations. I love people and strive to reach out to the lost, and those who just need a friend. I pray constantly, for my prayers are what has seen me through. I pray for everyone I meet and know. I feel that everyone needs prayer whether they asked for it or not. I pray for streghth to be a blessing and a tool for God. When I stumble I fast and pray even harder. Satin has really been attacking my family and I lately. He is trying extra hard these days to bring us all down and cause us to turn away from Jesus. I refuse to give in to the pain and suffering he has brought down upon my family and myself. Prayer is my sword against evil, and I use it well. I have four sons all grown know. My youngest son and his daughter live with me. He is 29, she is 6. I love them dearly, as I do all my children and family. They come only second to God. I also enjoy writing poetry. I am a very active member of the P.T.O. @ my grand daughter's school. I love going to church with her and watching her grow in Christ. I try to make sure every child that cross'es my path knows they are loved by God and by me. All the children at her school call me Nana as she does. I try to make them each see how special and important they are. To know that God created them with purpose and meaning. I feel as though Gods sends me these broken children and families to help. I beleive if God puts something in your lap, you'd better take care of it. I read a lot, mostly scripture, though I am always reading something. I preffer to read things I can gain knowledge from. I do not read romance novels or other brain cloggers. I do not watch very much T.V. . News once a day (unless there are tornado warnings out), Every now and then when family is over we will watch a movie. I love to fish, canoe, read, listen to music (esp. when I'm painting or writing). I enjoy camping, hiking, or just a good long nature walk. My grand daughter and I do a lot of crafting and playing. I enjoy swinging, running, jumping and just playing with her. She is a wonderful girl, a living joy. I have four grand kids counting her. They are all great kids, and I ove them dearly. I have many friends that I love spending time with. I guess that is about it for now. I am just 100% me, and grateful for everything I have. |
