Refreshing the Autopilot (our minds)

$$%pit2.jpgIn our modern Jet planes - from take-offs to landings - a âself-steering gear' called autopilot controls the flight. Basically autopilot is dependent on computer software, which needs to be regularly tested and even sometimes repaired.Our mind behaves like an autopilot. We are also controlled by internal âsoftware'. How well we do on a certain day depends on the state of our mind. When facing an interview, for example, apart from being âtechnically' ready we need have a healthy mindset to make an impression. If this internal software called our mind gets corrupt our life will loose its direction.It is true our âsoftware' can get corrupted and we need to correct it frequently in the light of God's word. Please read these helpful verses and meditate for a few minutes on the state of your mind.
Romans 12:2: Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.
2 Corinthians 13:11: Aim for perfection, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
Colossians 3:2: Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things
