Ok girls. You know what this blog is about by reading the title. And I hope that you can really base your attire and actions on what I'm going to talk about here, and what God's word says. My sister's bible is a young women's study bible so it has some very cool study guides about different topics. I found a couple about modesty and I would like to share some of them with you. Girls, lets face it. We like getting attention from guys don't we? I'll admit to that myself. It always feels good when guys flirt with you, and call you cute and hott. And sometimes we will do just about anything to get attention from a guy....but some of the ways we try to get it is not always the best. When we dress $@%y, we send a message. If we don't want to be seen as a %@! object, then we shouldn't advertise ur bodies by trying to get guys to want us %@%ually. There is no harm in looking good, but we as Christians (little Christs) are supposed to focus on what's noble, right and pure; "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things." -Phillipians 4:8- I mean, it's tough. Because the world tells us that to be beautiful, We have to show off "our stuff" and that's how we find love and all that nonsense. But that's not what God tells us. There's a fine line between trying to look attractive, and trying to look seductive, and the world is beginning to erase that more and more. So how do we know the difference? Like anything else, the difference is in our hearts. Jesus said our actions come from our hearts; "But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man 'unclean'. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, #!ual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander." - Matthew 5:18 & 19- Wanting a guy to notice us is no crime. It's part of how God created us. However, if our motive is wrong and we are compromising our integrity(or a guy's) in the way we dress, act or talk, we are off track; "But among you there must not be even a hint of $!%#ual immorality, or any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people." -Ephesians 5:3- And getting a guy's attention and getting the RIGHT guy's attention are two very different goals. If we are looking for Mr. Right (a solid Christian guy), shameless flirting will not catch his eye. Godly guys are looking for godly girls--or they're not really godly guys. And when we dress modestly we are not only protecting ourselves, we are protecting our brothers in Christ. Because when we dress in a way that is seductive or flaunts our "#$ests", then that causes them to have impure thoughts. Girls, guys really can't control their thoughts very well. And it's not all their fault, it's because of our sinful nature. That's why we have to be extra careful to remain modest. I know visible cleavage is the "in" thing right now, but just because it's the popular thing, doesn't mean it's the best thing. There's a quote that I've seen and heard many times and it says, "What is Popular, is not always Right, and what is Right, is not always Popular." So I know it's cool and you get alot of attention, but you don't want that kind of attention girls! You want guys to like you for the things that matter: inner beauty, personality, and Christian behavior. :) And we now move into how modesty goes beyond just dressing appropiately, also how we act. I know some girls at school who tend to touch guys at school in places they shouldn't, and some of them claim to be Christians! If you think about it, these boys are our fellow brother's in Christ. And We would never do that sort of thing to our real brothers because it's inappropriate, and gross; well that is the same mindset we should have about all guys. We wouldn't do that to our brothers, and so we certainly shouldn't do that to our brothers in Christ. I pray that all you girls (and possibly guys, because this can help you encourage your sisters in Christ) will really think on the things I've discussed and let it be a challenge for you to please God. :) Remember we are God's princesses and we deserve to be looked at, and treated with respect, and we do not settle for anything less! Hey everyone! :) Just posting this blog....well because.....uh..........wat were we talking about? haha J/K but I really don't know why I'm posting this I guess to just blog because I haven't in a while. haha I hope everyone is doing well! Everything's pretty rad here in A-Town haha. An exciting thing that's happened is My friends and I started a "Small Group" at school during lunch. We aren't calling it a "bible study" because first of all it really isn't one, it's more of talking about our lives and situations we are going through, and giving verses that help us in that situation etc. So I guess we are more of an Accountability group. Haha ANYWAYS long story haha but we started with 8 people and in two days we have grown to 13.:) I think it's really exciting that this is just the beginning. :) I would like to ask you to pray for our group and that it will grow, and that we can reach out to our school. :) God bless you guys and email me if you wanna chat! Hey! Jessica here! :) So ya, like today I have strep throat, soooo not fun, but my birthday is tommorow! :) I'm gonna be 15! :) I am writing this blog to say thank you to Godtube, for having this A-H-M-A-Z-I-N-G website! It's so osm possom to have somewhere to go and meet Fellow Christians and feel safe on the internet. Because this world is full of evil things. Sites like Myspace, and Youtube are full of things of this world, and they are very dangerous! So I am so thankful to feel secure when I come here, because you promote Godly things, and offer a very safe environment for us. :) Thank you Godtube, for everything you do! :) God Bless!
Air1 sends me verses of the day, and today I received one that goes with my song. It is Ecclesiastes 4:10. It says, "If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble." That is the point that I am trying to get across. You don't have to be alone. Because it is a whole lot easier if you allow someone to be there for you to help you up. :) Isn't that amazing how God works? How he placed that verse somewhere for me to read? God Bless!

I've never done a blog before so I don't know what to talk about on a blog. Haha Well some of you guys may have seen my video. My madre uploaded it. I wrote this song, "You Are not Alone" July 22nd and 23rd of this year. I dedicate it to a friend. He and I have been struggling lately. Our relationship has been an emotional rollar coaster. We have been best friends for a long time. We did everything together. But this past school year, we drifted apart because, he became Mr. Popular, so he just kind of left me behind. He's had some struggles at home. His parents fight alot, his siblings do not treat him with any respect, and he's become very rebellious at home. He's also drifted from the church. I don't think his relationship with the Lord is very strong, I think he is a little mad at God with how his life is. So for his birthday, I wrote him this song. This song is just for anybody who has ever felt that there is no hope, that their life just sucks, and they don't know what to do. It's to show them that they have someone in their life, that is never going to forsake them (God) and someone who is trying to be there by their side when they face hardships (in this case me, but in other cases someone close.) I shared it with my church this past Sunday, August 17th, and that's when my mom filmed it, and posted it. At the time, I didn't know what to call it. I wasn't sure if You Are Not Alone worked, but after singing it, I talked to my dad and he said of course it worked, so I stuck with it. I hope you like it.
