THE VIOLIN PLAYED BY JESUS

Again I want to share a story with you from D van Keulen. I was very moved by it.

We have a huge shopping mall in Utrecht. Each day you can find musicians there, usually homeless people. D likes to tell this.

He says: I am that homeless musician playing the violin. My violin is old, one string is broken, the other sounds out of tune, the third is unwound and the fourth string has been broken off. People are walking by, shaking their heads. Then Jesus comes along. For a while He is listening. Then He asks: can I hold your violin for a while?

And D replies: Yes.

Jesus takes the violin, he ties up the first string and tunes it to the A of Agape (Gods love). He tunes the second and fixes the third string. Out of his pocket he gets the fourth string, fixing it and tuning it on the violin. Then He asks, can I have your bow?

When D wants to give his bow to Jesus, he says no, not that one. I need your sorrow, your pain, your tears and your mistakes. When D has finally giving it all to Jesus, He starts playing the violin. And People stop listening, asking each other: what kind of Heavenly Music is this?

It's my desire to be played like a violin by Jesus, so people will stop, listening to music from Heaven!
