| About Me: | I have been a Christian since 2001 and still moving forward everyday. I love the way God moves in my life. I have a small part of me that is different then everyone else that God made different in my life. I can talk with my hands and I love to do it. I am hard hearing and very proud of it. I was so ashamed of it when I was little. I didn't understand why God did this to me. i really hated him back then cause I had no friends, made fun of everyday at school and pick on alot. Every night when I go to bed I cried to bed because I didn't understand why I am so different from every one else. I do have 2 hearing aids and I always hide them when I meet boys or hang out with my sister so i can get the attention like she did. But now since I am older and am a child of God I understand why now. If God did not make me differnt I would not sign for my God at my church. I am married to a wounderful husband sent by God and 3 beautiful kids that i am teaching sign too. I am not ashamed of my ability and am so proud of the way God made me. Thanks Lord for this oppuntiy to be different in your eyes so I can talk to you with my hands. God Bless |

Hi Tara,, I am glad to meet other hard of hearing people..like you I had a hard time growing up too with being the only hard of hearing in my school.. Now I have many deaf, hard of hearing and hearing friends...I am proud to be hard of hearing...especially when we can turn the world off and have a quiet moment with God...it is sooooo cool to be us...thanks for inviting me to be your friend...Pam |

thanks alot. I really like being hard h earing because I beleive it is drawing me closer to God by my signing that I do at my church and teaching kids at there youth. It has been realy blessing me so much. God Bless <><

I have a precious friend, Debbie, who is deaf. I met her over 22 years ago. She has taught me so much. Although its been awhile since I've talked with her, I continue to hold her close to my heart.
