Somtimes you just have to believe. Because somtimes that's all you can do.

The scripture does not tell us to prove the scripture itself...Who do we think we are anyway??? We are to prove all things in accordance with the Word...hold fast to that which is therefore good and reject that which is not, which is not in accordance with the Word. And then we are told to test the spirits...in 1 John 4:1... because there are many false prophets who are not of God, gone out into the world. ..
I agree with my brother norristr6791 that there are scriptures that we are not meant to understand at a given point, and that all the proving in the world will not change that...we take them on faith and obey, whether we understand or not; the same as we expect our little children with their limited understanding to obey our instructions whether they can (prove them o) understand them or not... It's the same premise of trusting in technology, or obeying a law, whether we have the ability to prove it or understand it on our own.

1Ti 6:15 Which in his times he shall shew, [who is] the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

1Ti 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom [be] honour and power everlasting. Amen.

Can these scriptures be proved out, or should one just by faith, believe them to be true??

your answer
1 Thessalonians 5:21
We should think we are children of GOD.
And are Father who is in us wants us to prove out all things.

Rom 9:6 ¶ Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they [are] not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Rom 9:7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, [are they] all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
Rom 9:8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these [are] not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
Rom 9:9 For this [is] the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son.
Rom 9:10 And not only [this]; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, [even] by our father Isaac;
Rom 9:11 (For [the children] being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)
Rom 9:12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
Rom 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
<>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <><

It seems that you believe that God calls ALL men His children. This is not so according to Scripture. Just Proving it out....what say ye Mr. Baker???
