   Praise God!

The phrase "Let US make man in OUR image.." does not portray any plurality in the Godhead neither does Elohim suggests something more than one person in the Godhead.
I have my simple explanation on that:

First, Elohim is the plural form of El for "God". Yes it is true that this Hebrew name is given as a name to the One God. This name came from Jews, but Jews never knew any plurality in the Deity. The name "elohim" is also given to identify the false gods using small letter 'e' on it. So we can say that when it refers to the One God of Israel, it is NOT limited to an essential three persons exists in Elohim. It could refer to thousands of true God. Any plurality of persons in the Godhead can hardly be recognized as ONE TRUE GOD, it is surely the same with the false gods and you are not monotheistic, you're a polytheist. The golden calf built by Jewish people when Moses was on mount Sinai is also "elohim". But no where can we find that there is more than one golden calf! Elohim's plural form does not indicate an essential threeness in the Godhead but it refers to the multiplied power of God, His attributes, NOT persons!

Last, the phrase "Let US make man in OUR image" does not suggests that more than one Person created us.

Gen 1:26 ¶ And God said, Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

But when you look up the next verse...

Gen 1:27 So God created man in HIS [own] image, in the image of God created HE him; male and female created HE them.

It is the One Person (God), identified with HE, HIS that created us!

Always remember that angels are already present when God created the world and everything in it. I am not saying that angels helped God in His creating work but God is talking to His angels.

One example of their coversation is this: The teacher is in the front of her students and she is saying, "Let US draw a circle." The students are sitting on their chairs and only the teacher is in the blackboard. When the teacher drew the circle, she use the word US to let her be recognized that she is not alone in the classroom. But how many drew the circle on the blackboard? Does all the students stood up and drew the circle in harmony with their teacher? Absolutely NO! The same with the Lord. When God said, "Let US make man in OUR image" He is conversing with His angels to SHOW that creation was NOT Done in secret.

Trinitarians are always saying that God is like husband and wife when after got married became ONE flesh. But here is the point, even when husband and wife became one flesh, they are never called HE, HIS, HIM but always THEY, THEM, THEIR. In contrast with GOD, HE is never even once called THEY, THEM, or THIER but always HE, HIS, HIM. Praise the Lord for this wonderful truth! God is One. A multiplication of the persons of God lead to much confusion nad controversy. Let us be settled to the very teaching of the Scriptures. When God said, there is none beside Me, or I know not any, there is no other god before Me neither shall there be after Me, we must believe, receive, love and live for it, and teach and proclaim it to all the world! GOD is one! John 10:30 says, I and My Father are one. Next in the word "one" is a period (.)."One" (1) is a number. We must accept that God is ONE in numerical sense! God bless you dear brother!

gab it has been a while since I kept track of some the coments on the declaration song you have posted, and I have a question for you.

What do you believe in One God, or are you into modelism. You seem to be pushing modelism which is a very inaccutrate perception.

I would still like to see you answer the question I propsed months ago. If God is only one God, and knowing the penalty of sin, how could redemption have occured if God cannot exist in three. There is much along this line of thoght, that if you are willing to discuss with me I will share my insights, and we could have some healthy dialogue.

Wait a minute, God is truly God of love, and His very nature is that He Himself is Love. He loves the man but He hates sin, no matter how big or little they are. With this truth in our minds, we must understand that God will hate the man if he desires and decides to continue sinning, and that why judgment is given. In fact, God loves the people who are willing to shun trinitarianism, "Christ as only human theology", and other man made doctrines contrary to the clear teaching of the word of God. If there Must be people who should be called cultists, they are those who dont believe in the theocarnation, meaning One God manifested in the flesh (in contrast with incarnation as described by Webster as referring to the trinitarian mening of God the Son was made flesh). Anyone who has only an argument IS NEVER at the mercy of the one who has both the argument and the experience. It is Jesus who died and gave Himself for us. One God with one person is enough. He has all the attributes and prerogatives for the needs of His people. Again, One God with one Person JESUS CHRIST IS ENOUGH. We do not need divisible gods, or any person asprt from the One who offered Himself in the cross of Calvary. Yes! The Christ at Calvary showed His AGAPE, UNselfish love! But those who profess that Christ is somebody apart from the One who created us all, they are teaching that it is NOT really Christ that offered HIMSELF for us, but just someone who died for our stead and for the stead of somebody who JUST commanded Him to do so! But it is He Created us, Saves us, aand Comforts us. Again and again, we do not need more persons in the godhead or many gods, ONE GOD IS ENOUGH.

John, Aner wants you to believe that the Father is the only God and Jesus is just a man. He is an Arian. Let him. The revelation is not revealed to him. I encountered a lot of people like him. He has many same faith brethren here in the Philippines. 2 John 7-10 speaks of people who do not want to recognize Jesus is come in the flesh. I don't want to be an antichrist. We are even commanded to bid not godspeed anyone who says He's just a man. Hahaha, atleast we're sure he is an antichrist. Praise the Lord! The contrast is stark. Let us acknowledge that Jesus is come in the flesh. Not from being an angel, nor from a divine inferior person from the Father, nor from being God the Son, but the God the Father's human role as the Son of God, and now living inside me as the Holy Ghost in another manifestation to have His abode in my life. Thank God I've got that Greater and He's inside of us Apostolic Oneness Pentecostal UPC believers. Any negative reaction indicates an envious behaviour! Hahahaha! Hallelujah!

Aner, I understand that you have been hurt emotionally in your past experience with the UPC, so keep it in your self, don't gossip or slander us. Remember, satan is the founder of accusation because he is the number one accuser of the brethren. We are just supposed to love God with our everything. Pessimistic people find it hard to accept what we have experienced. A Pentecostal is someone who have an innermost desire to acknowledge God in everything we do. Not because we are commanded to do so, but because we love the Lord and love to be in the presence of His people. Keep it up guys, just be Pentecostal and enjoy yourself with the Lord! Hallelujah!

Praise God. Stephen saw the glory (not person or deity) of God and Jesus standing on the right hand of God. God is a Spirit, right? Is there any possibility in which Stephen could see God's literal right hand if He is a Spirit?? Can you identify where is His right hand if He is a Spirit? How can God sit on a literal body-sized throne if He is an omnipresent Spirit (Jeremiah 23:24)? Did Stephen said He saw the Father or only the glory of God? If Jesus is literally on the right hand of God's person, where would He must sit? What is the most accurate position the Scripture is telling about Christ? Was He standing or sitting? And where He would sit? There's only one throne in heaven. Would He sit on the floor? or would He sit on the Father's lap? If we understand that God the Father has no personal literal body apart from the Son of God (without ignoring His omnipresence), we will definitely understand also His real being. All the quality of God was in the Son Jesus the Christ BUT not all the quantity of the Godhead resides in Him. All the Deity could not fill the Son's limited body. Exodus 15:6 answers all questions about God's right hand. The Right Hand of God does not mean His literal right hand, it speaks of God's power and favor. Stephen was a Jew in birth. He neither knew any God apart from the Jehovah God of Israel. YET.... Acts 7:59 records: "Stepehn calling upon GOD (not man), and saying, LORD JESUS receive my spirit." To whom Stephen addressed his words and his spirit? To the separate person apart from what he saw standing on God's right hand (glory and favor) who is NO OTHER but the Lord Jesus? Jesus (the glorified body of the Son) is the ONLY visible Person in heaven. Stephen neither see the literal person of the Father nor His literal right hand. What he concludes after seeing Jesus is no other but, "Lord Jesus receive my spirit." And you know that the Father is the only applicable One who MUST receive his human spirit. :->

I recognizes God's distinct role as the Son of God. Not a separate person, but a separate mode of the Eternal Spirit in human form. Jesus is not just a manifestation of the Father in the flesh, but the very God Himself acted as the sinless Man. Though He has a distinct human will and emotions as the Son of man, that's not necessarily mean that the Son is a separate person aprt from the Father, BUT the SON HIMSELF is the only Person of the Father. The secret in understanding the humanity of Jesus Christ is you must first understand thast the Father IS NOT a person. The only way we can find the Father is through the Son.

Oneness Theology MUST never be seen as a misrepresentation of trinitarianism, and NEVER binitarianism, and NEVER unitarianism! That's the summary of my first explanation.

God bless

Apostolic Oneness versus Tr... added: 85 days ago
Praise the Lord everybody!

<to Aner and John>

This is the uploader's explanation...

1 Corinthians 8:6 does not support binitarianism as Aner supposed. This Scripture does intends to us to recognize with emphasis the absolute oneness of God in His very nature. The passage states,

But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

The first line does emphasize that God is one. One is a number. This must be interpreted in numerical sense because we can find in the whole Bible that God is One, and there is only one Holy One. If we look on this Scripture much closer, you will notice that here Paul stresses the two most important doctrines of the Bible: First, the absolute oneness of God who is the Father (refering to the Omnipresent Spirit who dwells eternity). Last, the lordship of the begotten Son (the flesh of the One God). we should not view the Godhead as composed of two equal divine persons (Binitarian view), or composed of two divine persons with subordinate Son (which is an Armstrongian view), or composed of two persons with the acknowledgement of the Son's angelic divinity in contrast with the Deity (which is a Jehovah witness theological position).

Notice the two lines in the passage:

But to us there is but one God, the Father, OF whom are all things, and we IN him;

and one Lord Jesus Christ, BY whom are all things, and we BY him.

The role of the Creator is performed by the Father (the One God) who is the all in all God who inhabits eternity "OF " whom are all things, and therfore we are "IN" Him.

The role of redemption is performed by the All in All God not through His nature as the Father, but through His manifestation in the flesh as the Son (flesh) of God.

The Bible and the apostles does not ignore the mystery of godliness which is the theocarnation (in contrast with incarnation which is defined by Webster as manifestation of God the Son in the flesh). Theocarnation speaks of GOD (the whole Godhead or Deity) manifest in the flesh to be the Son of God. The Son of God is divine only because the Father dwelleth in Him.

We should also briefly note here that when God (the Father) became flesh, His omnipresence did not ceased. Only a portion of God's very nature (or only a portion of His omnipresent Spirit) resides in the Son. That's why we can read from the Bible that the Father is in heaven and also the Father is in the Son *read up John chapter 14:

7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

8Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

11Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

12Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

We MUST be aware that the office of the sonship is NOT YET finished! The Son, with His own human will accompanied by the Father (the Spirit that dwells in the glorified body of the Son; the same nature of the omnipresent Spirit outside of the Son, but different in purpose) is still in the office NOW as being the Mediator, to be the King in His millenial Kingdom, and to be the White Throne Judge. After the Son accomplished all of these, the Son Himself (the office NOT the glorified body) will be submitted to the Father, so that God will return to His absolute role and nature, to be the All in All God!

We should also take note that when we speaks of JESUS name, we may refer to the Son, to the Father, or to the Father and the Son (dual nature).

Hallelujah! Thank God for this wonderful revelation of God!

Again, we should not ignore the doctrine of the Son of God, not only the absolute oneness of God but also the office of the sonship, NOT as a separate person in the Godhead or out of the Godhead, but a separate role or office played by the Son (Human nature accompanied by the Spirit of God the Father).

In conclusion, I believe in One everliving eternal omnipresent God who is the Father, that He is absolutely One in number, and also in the Son of God, the Saviour, the Mediator, the King, the Judge, the Lord. He is not a separate person from the Father, BUT He is the very person of the Father. The only way we can find the Father is through the Son who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life! And the very reason why God play another role as the Son of God Jesus Christ is to present the very nature of the Old Testament God, which is LOVE! God is Love, and that Love was manifested and seen when the Almighty God manifest Himself as the Son of God! There is only One Saviour, only One Creator, only One Lord. There is no question with that!

2 John says,

7For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

8Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

9Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

God bless you all!

Three beings become one being is absolutely erroneous. You cannot compare God with the union of husband and wife. Even they become one, they were never called \'he\', but always \'they\'. God can never be called \'they\' because \'He\' is absolutely one in numerical sense! Got it?

Weâve been known to get wild, and let our hair hang down
Drink till we get merry, rolling on the ground
Weâve cranked up the music, weâve danced all around
Shouting Hallelujah as His glory came down
Itâs just our style, the way we do our thing
Weâre the Pentecostals, baptized in Jesus Name

Iâm a Pentecostal, and I am not ashamed
Just read the Book of Acts, we are still the same
We worship only One God, Jesus is His name
We are Apostolic in every way

"One source of man's weariness is the pursuit of things that can never satisfy.. Our pleasures, possessions, and pride - these are all dead things. When we try to get life out of dead things, the result is only weariness and dissatisfaction." (Read Matthew 6:21). Therefore, let us live with Jesus Christ and follow Him in all circumstances of life, for this is our whole duty in this world, and in the life to come.
