About your statement on Healing and Tongues. Jesus did not say these (signs, gifts, or manifestations) shall follow just the apostles, the preachers, the teacher, or that some of the gifts have ended. He (Jesus) said that these signs shall follow them that believe (Mark 16:15-18.) The healing anointing was not given exclusively to the twelve alone. In Luke Chapter 10, Jesus commissioned seventy other disciples and gave them instructions to heal the sick. Jesus commissioned or authorized the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ ALL BELIEVERS to heal the sick (Luke 10:1,8,9,)(Matthew 28:18-20.) The great Commission in verse(16) the "WHOEVER" would cover ALL BELIEVERS IN EVERY CENTURY. Supernatural signs including tongues, driving out demons, and healing the sick were promised to ACCOMPANY the Great Commission. To say that signs, gifts, or manifestations have stoped. It would be just as TRUE to say that Jehovah-Rapha is the Great I Was. (Jer.30:17, Jer.3:22, Isa.30:26, Isa.61:1, Psa.103:3) |
