Praise God! For he continues to work in our lives is every circumstance. We are happy to announce that Paula and I (Boaz) have been given a baby boy. We will pick him up in China around the end of May or the beginning of June. Check out his picture in the gallery. His name will be Josiah meaning âfire of the Lordâ or âSupported of the Lordâ and we pray for his place in the Kingdom of the Lord.
In this process of adopting it has led me to think about my adoption into Godâs family.

Ephesians 1:4-6
4For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5he[c] predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and willâ 6to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

Although I have been adopted into Godâs family, I find myself having to learn more about the love he offers to me. As I learn, I find my relationships improving around me because he also teaches me how to share his love. Today I found myself praying. Lord Thank you for Josiah and will you show me how to receive and express love even more

Someone once told me, that sometimes when you are serving the Lord in ministry it’s not comfortable for you but those are usually the times when the Lord stretches your faith in him.
These pass few weeks have been filled with faith stretching times. One of those faith stretcher times is our drummer, Aaron decided to step down from the band to focus on other aspects of life. We currently have Marc from Tacoma Foursquare Church filling the position. I have to say the way Marc came into our lives is a miracle in itself, but I’ll have to talk about that later. We do ask for you to pray for us as we go through the process of seeking God’s will regarding this situation.

The other faith stretching aspect is my wife Paula and I are in the process of adopting a baby from China. We expect to get a match at the end of March, which means we will be in China sometime in May. My prayer is for wisdom for this will change our lives as we know it now. Our prayer for our future child is that the Lord will use her or him in his kingdom in a mighty way. At the same time we pray for the Lord to give us the wisdom in our part of preparing this child to serve and love the Lord. During this time Boaz and the Band events will slow down for a little while as our baby becomes a part of our lives.
As we get ready for the next event our prayer is for more ideas and wisdom to encourage others to know more of the Word of God. We hope to see you there.

Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

We hope that our next worship event, people would be encourage as we look forward to the Day. So if you're on fire or feel the need to be reignited come and join us as we seek the Lord to prepare us for the Day.

This is the first blog entry. Just wanted to say welcome to all. Our journey as a band started this past year. Allow us to introduce ourselves my name is Elton. I am the Lead singer/guitar player, John is the bass player/Key board player and Aaron is the drummer.
We are three simple guys wanting to praise the Lord with our lives and with our songs.
