Roots is the confrence that the Salvation Army have on every year up in Southport. I was just about to post sumthing on the salvation army group on myspace and i found a post i put on there after last yrs confrence and it has reminded me bout so much and wot Gods plan is for my life ...... this is wot i posted -:

wow Roots this yr was amazing....when i got there on the monday to start setting up i was like are we goning to be set up in time but friday came and it was all done.



i wanted to go to roots cause i knew God was gonna help- me with a few of my own problems and the past month ive kind of being on to God say in when are you gonna help me so i knew someting was gonna happen on the weekend.



i went to the prayer tent and one of the guys in there prayed for at roots 05 so we had a good chatch up, then he said to me what would you say to God if he was sitting right next to you, so much was going through my head about the stuff i wanted to sort out in my life but for some reason i couldnt say them and told God to put "Others" be for me.



that night i went across to the big top at the end of steve chalks talk as soon as i walked into the big top i felt Gods presance and when the request for people to go down and get prayed for i felt the Holy Sprit calling me down to that corner, i was saying to myself well ive just been to the prayer tent and got prayer do i need anymore



i got down there and i was just praying that i want God to put others first before me, then the tears started i couldnt stop crying i felt the power of God come upon me and then some came up and said can i pray for you and wow i was down on the floor in the presence of God



all night through out the praise party i felt like i was glowing



Praise to Almighty God
