The unavoidable Death......

In most movies, only the bad guys dies â in real life; everybody dies! See, that is the truth and that is how far movies is from reality and that as sure might make us wonder why we at all like to see movies when they show us a very different reality.
The fact is, that death is a part of life and one of the things we can be absolutely sure about that we will experience when we get here on earth, it is a must-thing, a thing that is not volunteerly but obligated.
From being reflections on a piece of paper, the borders have been moved from philosophical to personal when I did receive a telephone call from a distant home-country, giving me the information that my Dad has died. In the age of 72 years, he moved residential to a Heavenly place, Dad went home.
How it is that death becomes such a surprise for us time after time, I do not know, since it is something we know that is a part of life and not possible to avoid, at least a psychical death. Different in intensity but same in surprising feeling is it when every time we come to the month of December, we seem to react with a big WOW â is it Christmas already! Knowing the days of the year is pretty easy, so in that way the surprising moment should not be that big as death.
I guess it is the mystery of not knowing when it comes â death â when the end of our lives here on earth comes, when we breathe our last breath, when we experience our last minute and say the last words. The unknowingly part, because it is out of our control â and we hate that. We hate not having control, we hate when something comes from outside and moves into our reality and basically there is not much to do about it.
But it does take it decisions, God does allow it to happen, He does. Death was not the idea of God, it was not a part of plan A, of His design for the world. Death came in sneaking through the door, affecting our lives, affecting all of us. It came in as a fruit of darkness, a sick fruit, one of the ones we would never choose if we just know how bad it would be, already back there in the Garden of Eden â if we never did listen to that sweet voice of a clever liar.
I am not blaming God â how can I do that ? Death is 100 % sure, it was not Gods idea, His plan. In fact there is no one to blame and that makes it even more weird, it is just there! If without sickness or accidents, you get 70 or 80 years here on Earth, something like that and you choose what you will do will all the things in between â you are guaranteed an Ending as well as a beginning, a birth and a death.
