Now I have re-started on âThe Great Danceâ- series, I heard them first time a couple of months ago, but now is a time for a re-visit. Today I was watching a video with Baxter Kruger, Perichoresis, as he was sharing on the adoption in Christ. Basicly we have flipped the whole Kingdom of God upside-down the last 1500 years and made the impression of God as a very sin-focused God !! Now I know im again running the risk of being misunderstood, so be itâ¦â¦
When we take our starting point in the view that âyou are a sinner, you are lostâ â kind of look, then we make God like a very distant, unreachable God, that in His holiness He is completely untouchable and to reach us, Jesus becomes a PLAN B for God â but that is not how the Bible lays it out. Jesus is NOT and never has been, a plan B â He is plan A, Jesus is the Son of God, please notice that it is first when we get to the New Testament, that we hear someone, calling God for FATHER â the Son, Jesus Christ, the human, the son in the God-head.
In the old testament, we might take the start point in the keyword separated â but that just makes us see more sin and not the Father-heart of God. Instead, I think the whole of Old Testament is a God calling âcome, please come â unite with me, reconcile with meâ. There we have the high priests, the offerings of animals and worshipping in the temple, the 1 time a year sacrificing for the cleansing of the peoples sins and painting a symbol of the coming of the Christ. We even see in the old testament, people getting saved IN FAITH â faith reaches on in the future as well, into the New Testament.
If God is a God on the hunt for fellowship, for relationship with humankind â what is then the law ? Is it the standard of God, His Kingdom, His ideals or a âsin-convincing systemâ (like Paul is explaining in romans 5, 6 and 7) ? The intentions of the law was never meant to do so, but we interpretated it to be a âtarget to fullfillâ instead of something good! Much likely inspired by the devilâ¦..
Having considered this, we take the starting point in the keyword united â that the whole world is (once again) united in Christ (Colossians says, everything is created FOR Him, BY Him and TO Him â The God-Son), then it does mean that we are ALL, Christians as well as not-yet-christians, are meant to belong to God, yes we ARE Gods property! Gods belongingsâ¦â¦â¦
How ? By the intervene of a love-sick God who loves mankind, the whole population of planet Earth, every billion, even the ones we do not likeâ¦â¦..by re-uniting (like at the time of the Garden of Eden where God Himself walked among Mankindâ¦.), by re-conciliating and adopting humans unto Him â everyone free to say no or yes to that, that does NOT change the fact of the adoption!
So does a non-christian already belong to God? In fact, YES â but here do not misunderstand, it does not mean automatically that everyone will be saved, I can not find any biblical reasons in the Bible to argue for universalism, that is not what I am sharing at all.
Belonging to God and being saved is NOT the same â being a Christian, means we AGREE with God, we take on His views, His life, our eyes open to the reality that we are already invited, already included in His fellowship (the triune God, the fellowship-God, Father-Son-Holy Spirit).
That is why the Bible calls this age the time of grace, the grace veils us, covers the Earth â everyone belonging to Him, at the End, the day of death or end of the World, only stand those who agreed with God in the adoption in Christ â proclaiming, âYes, God, you are rightâ. So my life is no longer mine, now it is Christ-in-me, the united, the fellowship-God, I became a part of The Great Dance because I am what I am in Christ as Son of God, I am His child, fully adopted â Amen.

Faith is really crazy.....I mean, not in a negative sense, but in the way that I think it is something we can NEVER get the whole grip of, never completely understand and not even totally define (well, I do know that Hebrew 11,6 is a quite famous quation for defining faith.....).
When does it makes "sense" - and what does that mean by the way - to put on "the armour of faith", to think in faith, see in faith, act in faith, speak in faith and when is it "just normal things" that makes things going smoothly....and what is "just normal things" ? Is there such things as coincidences? I dont think so..... but I dont think so either, that we are "just puppets in strings", managed by a all-knowing God who manage us like a 16 member orchestra!!
We have the very right to choose......the free will if you like.....sometimes a curse, sometimes a blessing....................
Lets take the news today about the Neumann family in Wisconsin, they believe strongly in God, their daughter Madeline, 11 years of age, is sick of diabetes. The "sense" to rely on prayer, never a bad choice right........but choice to "say no" to the hospital, doctors etc.......and what happens ? The girl dies....... can you blame God now ? NOOOO....... does it change the very caracter of God ? Does it change the value of prayer as a priviligue as children of God ? NOOOO.....
So what is the answer ? Sorry......I can not give you the answer, I can not even tell the balance between hospitals, medicine, doctors and having faith - a issue I struggle understanding as well (why do christians get sick as well and is it "un-christian" to take medicine, go to the hospital, visit the doctor.....and when "just" to pray or doing both....).
God is God right.......can He not use the medicine, doctors, the hospital for His glory ? Well, the other day, here in the town, I heard about a Christian hospital we have here and they have these cute plastic-bags with "God is love" - in thai as well as in english and the hospitals play worship music in the halls where the patients are.....pretty cool ehh.......
Anyway....hopefully I made you thinking.....faith is not always logic, it is not easy to "put down in a box" - and certainly should not -, it looks BEYOND what the "eye see", it looks further........is not easy to figure out what faith is........... you are more than welcome to share you thoughts on the comments to this blog........ blessings to you.........in your faith-journey with Christ, your best friend, never-failing....... :-)

My mind is focused on the so called worship, which in many many christians mind is equal to songs, text and noisy music......I know that I am taking the risk of being heavy misunderstood now, I am not against worship and use of modern music in christian concregations (I prefer that word much more than the word "church" which has been misunderstood as well....). There is nothing wrong with modern music....BUT it leaves the danger of being so appreciated that it kind of like steals the focus....even steals the focus away from Jesus ! Then we are talking IDOLS.......and then it is certainly away of the will of God and does not honour Him at all !!
Today music has been so important in many congrecations, I have seen that, and by now it has almost become a whole science (even where the definition of being "holy" seems to be defined by if you can be a "worship-leader" or no......so everybody can see you, very appealing to your "flesh", because you sure get a lot of attention and running the risk of being proud !!!)......now, focus is SO much on worship, that it seems to be the main-thing.....(wow, this is really a catchy song, a nice style, we love that song, we love this music.....) and then what is focus ???
So what about all of us who is not good at singing, does it mean that we are "un-holy" ? Or just not "in" ?
I thought that worship was NOT about music, about text, about noise, but about how we live our lives for Jesus - our daily respons to Him, if we willing to "take up our cross and follow Him" ? Have we simplified it all to only be about music and "artists" ?
Is there salvation in worship, songs, music ? Dont take me too serious here, Im just teasing in this point..... :-)
Anyway........the issue of salvation, I wish to point out that the Bible, the word of God, in the original language actually discerns between 3 "kinds" of salvation and how it means/uses that words :
1) Salvation of the Spirit (one-time, experience, we get the Spirit of God, Gods Spirit takes present in us)
2) Salvation of the Soul (a life-time experience, daily battle, that the Soul gets less and Spirit more...... - Soul is will, feelings and mind - so that the soul gets submissive to the Spirit and NOT opposite, which actually is more easy to happen and our God-view gets messed up)
3) Salvation of the body (on the rapture day or if we die before, on the day of resurrection....a resurrection-body)
This just to focus and hopefully give a little help when understanding different verses that speaks about salvation, please note this.

I admit, this might offend you and think in the direction of "very unspiritual" - but what does that mean afterall - is there such a thing ? Where we rightfully can divide things up in spiritual and "un-spiritual" ?
Plainly speaking, and perhaps very "un-christian-like" (at least if you persume that a christian is perfect....), I admit, I am feeling (thinking.....) that the blessings is pouring out on everybody else at the moment and they you happen to PASS ME BY - what is happening ? Has God overlooked me ? There is more than 6 billion people in the world, so I understand that He might be pretty busy........
Nevertheless, the word of God, still proclaims that He knows my name, calls me by name and even the very hairs on my head is counted by Him (even the grey ones....)......
Struggling......feelings, thinking versus the word of God, His very character, Gods personality (even the Bible teaches that God IS spirit, so the word "personality" might sound a little funny.....).
Is it just the devil, the accuser throwing darts at me, trying to tear me down with the basic question "so where is your God" - "where is your faith"....... how do I manage up ? How do I keep on waiting ?
The fast-answer would be "you just have to pray"...."you just have to read the bible more"..."start singing christian songs"..... like a McDonals drive-through.....order, pay and you get it.....GOD IS NOT A COKE-MACHINE...... you put in - you get out....is it ?
Can God handle my doubt - my unsecureness ? My questions ? If He really is God, He can - and God is God, there is no doubt about that..........
How do I have the guts to question God ? Do I really do that - or am I just being honest, putting words on my thoughts ? Did Jesus correct Thomas, the disciple......did He blame him - or what about Peter, the other disciple, who denied Jesus 3 times, did Jesus say "you are such a doubter, such a looser"....He sure did NOT........
This is the thoughts on a tuesday afternoon, where I came back from a VISA-tour (1 month tourist-visa) to the border of Myanmar.....now I can only do that 1 more time......and then get out of Thailand.....how do God fix that ? At the very same time when friend get 1 year visa in Australia and a nother friend get paid tour to Denmark..........mixed joy, when we SOOO much wish to see that country again.......
Am I the only one who can fight with the issue of rejoicing on the behalf of other christian brothers and sisters who experience the joy of Gods blessings in their life and im feeling mixed emotions (yes, I DO know that jealousi is a sin.......).....how do I cover it ? How do I "die" in that fleshly issue ? Questions are many.............answers are.......found in the "pursuit of lifes journey" I guess.......... :-)

Hey, it might be time to STOP up and think about what you get under influence under - what effects your life ? Don´t you think that music, tv, movies, magazines, websites, newspapers, friends, family, commercials, everything around you effects you - IT DOES !!It is called "brain-wash" and we all suffer from that, good things as well as bad things!
I can get hurt though, in a concerned way, when I see christian brothers and sisters who like horror-movies (to scare is not exactly from God right......), occultic-stuff, non-christian "let´s go and have 6"-lyrics-music, gossip-magazines etc. - basic-line is that we are OPENING UP a door for the devil !!
In the same time I am aware that it might get some to think that christianity is about what you can do and what you can not do...NO, it is actually not that....it is just about a lovin-relationship where somethings is really NOT good for us as children of God and some things is okay. What draws us TO Him and what draws us AWAY from Him.......we are getting used to live so much in a "political correctness" time of living, that we dont see anymore the "I am not come to make peace, but sword"-kind of words anymore...it almost seems like a crime to do so!!!!
Anyway......words is not the most important, love IS ! And exactly when we love each others, to warn against, we will also tell the truth right....if we really love each others ? Will you or me let somebody die on the highway, if we know how to avoid it ? If we can help others to get polluted would we not do so in love ?
This speaks just as much to me as to anyone else I guess....... dont think I am just writing for the pleasure of writing, I feel I need to share this.
We have the messages of the medias and we have the values of God - and OFTEN these two, clash with each others, so what should we choose ?? What do we choose ??
Everything affects us.....our choices have consequences!!
Dont belive the standards, the values of this world, what they try to tell you what is right and wrong.....go for a HIGHER standard, Gods standard.....to live HOLY LIVES (set aside for something special purpose....).
Choose Gods message, Gods values!
Today will not be so much more from the "relationship-lectures", but sharing some things I sensed I had to give......take it if it speaks to you.....if not......take it anyway :-) The love of God also tells us what is good for us and what is not good for us and that is why the word of God also includes things that we do NOT like to hear - me as well !!
