"What is the chief end of man?" Do you recognize this question from the Westminster Catechism? There's a good chance you do. Of course the reply is, "Man's chief end is to glorify God, and enjoy Him forever."
God is thrilled-or glorified-when we take joy in Him? When we enjoy God, we prove Him to be worthy of our thoughts, time, and energy. That demonstration of our joy can then compel others to know Christ as we do. It's a wonderful circle of praise; we come to know God better, we enjoy Him in new and vibrant ways, He is glorified, and others come to know and enjoy Him as well.
The value of life is not dictated by what we do for Christ. Rather, it is what we allow Him to do in and through us each day. This brings glory to God and infuses our lives with joy. Think about how you can bring glory to God this week by enjoying Him in ever-greater ways. Your life, and probably the life of someone else, will be much better for having done so. Read More »

Things can get SO stressful, but if I just keep my eyes on the Lord, He pulls me thru anything that life throws at me. Thank you Lord!! Not interested in "religion"...Love Jesus with all my heart and soul... It makes me sad how people get so caught up in their "religious" activities that they lose sight of the grace and love that brought them to Jesus in the first place. Their walk becomes stressful and busy...the joy is lost. I was one of them once...thank God He opened my eyes!! Woohoo!! :0) |

| Interested In: | I recently bought a Canon PowerShot camera and have absolutely fell in LOVE with Photography! I carry it with me everywhere I go...always on the look out for my next great photo opportunity. It has really helped me to see the world around me differently and take notice of the things I would have normally never noticed. I also enjoy crocheting and video making. I enjoy the outdoors and flower gardening. I go bike riding regularly. I enjoy cooking great healthy food for my family. I LOVE to go treasure huntin in thrift stores and estate sales! ;0) |

| Favorite Movies: | I like any movie that keeps me on the edge of my seat or makes me laugh til I can't breath. I enjoy watchin cooking and traveling shows. |
| Favorite Books: | The Bible. I read all kinds of books from Christian romance to Christian self helps to recipe books. I love to go digging in thrift stores for used books...so fun! The books Grace Walk and The Subtle Power of Spiritual Abuse saved me from giving up on christianity. |

Hey, great verse! I used the same verse last wednesday to teach our teens on how to view their freedoms. If we are crusified then we have no rights, our lives belong to Him alone! Dear Heavenly Father ~ I pray in Jesus Holy Name for Mikenna and her family. Father God, in the circle of family and friends in Christ please release Mikenna from all anxieties and worry... Help her not worry when things don't go the way she expects. Jesus said we're not to fret, not to worry, not to let our hearts be troubled or afraid. He said we're to trust in You Father and also in Him. May it be so in their lives in this family, no matter how impossible things seem. Keep them from worrying about tomorrow, for each day has enough trouble of its own. When such trouble comes, help them to cast all their anxiety on Christ because He cares for them. Help them not to be anxious about anything but to pray about everything with thanksgiving, for when they do, You'll give them Your peace that surpasses their understanding, and such peace guards their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Keep their minds steadfast in trusting You and give them Your perfect peace. May they turn to the Lord of Peace who will give them peace at all times, in every way. Help them leave every worry at Your feet for You are able to change every circumstance of life for the good. In Jesus Holy Name Amen |
