Flitting past flickers, imprisoned old me Now on this side of the bars. Locked away in dungeons none see Though her memory still etches scars. Defiantly, Staring into that face, Clutching the prisoner's key, Remembering I once stood in her place As she whispers guilt and all she could be. More ambivalent than you see. Thoughts sensitive to touch It can't be me that holds this key; But who can I trust with such? I know she cannot stay Singing talent and potential. Others may join the fray, Persuasion too influential. She plagues intended honesty she knows my life of mystery Because she knows my history. She used to be me. | Interested In: | I love to read, write, and do anything wth my loving church. I enjoy archery, karate, and all kinds of unusual stuff. I help lead an afterschool Bible study at my high school called 'Ignite' and do a lot of volunteer work through local Christian ministries. I love music, from alternative to classical to Christian rock and everything in every little crevice in between, and play the piano, Indian flute, and bits of guitar for church. |

| Favorite Books: | For a bibliophile to name her favorite books in such a confined space is clearly a fool's gambit; but, yeah, books are something of a hiding place for me and my mind is usually found buried deep in a story at any given moment. The Bible obviously is my favorite, with the likes of Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, anything Ted Dekker, The Ultimate Gift, and others gallivanting through the forests of my mind after it. |
